Fjord-cruise to Billefjorden and the Nordenskiöld glacier
We set course towards Billefjorden, that early in the season often is covered in ice. As the fjord-cruise approach the ice edge, we will have fantastic opportunities to experience the magnificent Arctic wildlife that thrive and enjoy this area.
If the ice conditions allows, the cruise will also include the majestic views of the Nordenskiöld glacier.
Keep your eyes open and look for both whales, seals, walrus and a plethora of birds. And if we are lucky, a Polar bear or two are taking a “stroll” on the ice.
Our Svalbardcruise Team is excited to share Svalbard the way we think is the best - from the water – and our cruise hosts look forward to talk about the history of Longyearbyen, glaciers, wildlife, and possibly also share a “polar tall tale” or two…
We look forward to welcome you aboard, and we appreciate the opportunity to assist you in writing a new entry in your travel diary!
